Wet Jet Tour Details

Our powerful Jet Boats have sped upriver for 16 years, making their way into the breathtaking 180-foot-high stone-walled canyon surrounding you that is the Niagara Gorge. Prepare to GET WET as you explore the history, geography and the beautiful scenery all around. Anticipation builds as the boats splash into the water of Devil's Hole Rapids. The ultimate destination is the legendary Whirlpool, just a short distance below the turbulent water of one of the natural wonders of the world, mighty Niagara Falls. Be sure to bring a complete change of clothes. The Whirlpool and rapids are legendary for soaking those who challenge their incredible white water - from head to toe! Gear up and get ready for an experience you will not soon forget! PLEASE NOTE

• Minimum age to take this tour alone without adult supervision is 16.
• Children under age 6 may not take this tour.
• Anyone under 44 inches tall may not take this tour.
• Due to the nature of this tour, pregnant women are not permitted to participate.
• All participants must be in good health, and not subject to neck, or back injuries.
• A signed participation agreement is required by all participants.

Important Inclusions and Guest Services

• Wet Jet tour on the Niagara River into the Niagara Gorge and the famous Niagara Whirlpool.
• Wheelchair accessible with assisted boarding. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves without assistance by holding on to a bar in front of their seat.
• River Gear provided - life jacket, splash suit, sweaters and footwear.
• Digital Photography Program in Retail River Shop
• Change rooms on site. Bring a complete change of clothes. You will get soaked on the Wet Jet tour!
• Pre-trip safety orientation. All participants must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure to attend orientation.
• Coast Guard Certified Captains and Guides. Fully guided entertaining tour narration.

US-Canada Border Crossing Information
Neither Canada nor the USA will allow any person to cross an international border who does not have the proper documentation to return across that border. Everyone from every country arriving in Canada or the USA by air, land or sea now needs a passport or equivalent travel document. Equivalent travel documents include:
1. NEXUS CARD: A partnership between the Canada and U.S. border services that pre-approves entry for travelers by land, sea or air between Canada and U.S. An added benefit is designated and faster lanes at border crossings and airports. Application process involves interview and fingerprinting. Both U.S. and Canadian citizens apply through U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
2. U.S. PASSPORT CARD: This U.S. Department of State-issued ID is valid for entry into Canada by land or sea, though not valid for international air travel.
3. ENHANCED DRIVER'S LICENSE (EDL): EDLs indicate both citizenship and identity and are valid for entry into Canada by land or sea, though not valid for international air travel. As of January 2009, EDLs were only available in Washington and New York states, but were planned for Vermont as well. See individual state licensing departments for more info.
4. FAST/EXPRES CARD: This U.S. Customs and Border Protection program pre-approves commercial truck drivers for travel between the U.S. and Canada.

Children ages 18 and under are required to present proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate - passports, of course, are also acceptable.
If one parent is traveling with a minor child without the other parent, they must also have a notarized letter from the absent parent stating approval for the one parent to travel across the US-Canada border with the child.

24 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Children under 14 are eligible for the child rate; minimum age is 6. Must be at least 16 years of age to take this tour unaccompanied by an adult.
